2 Kings 14.3
instead he lived pretty much as his father Joash had;
despite everything, thank you lord for the chance to make this up to us - we get to set how we live our lives in obedience to you, and thank you for those who come before us that inspire us, and those who challenge us to be more like you. thank you that we are never bound by the past, we are never bound by our circumstances - even better we get to use our past and our situations to bring about something beautiful for the now and tomorrow because you are the one who makes all things good, all things beautiful, when we are all about you, when we are all about your things, putting your first, putting you above all. praise you, God, praise you!
