Keep Keeping On!

Hebrews 11.26
He valued suffering in the Messiah's camp far greater than Egyptian wealth because he was looking ahead, anticipating the payoff.
Moses chose the hard way with God over the easy way without him because he knew what was coming. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, israel, Rahab, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, the prophets, and so many more, through acts of faith, toppled kingdoms, made justice work, took the promises for themselves. They were protected from lions, fires, sword thrusts, turned disadvantage to advantage, won battles, routed alien armies. Not one of these people, even though their lives of faith were exemplary, got their hands on what was promised. God had a better plan for us: that their faith and our faith would come together to make one completed whole, their lives of faith not complete apart from ours (vv.17-40). Thank you, Lord, for your better plan! We will NEVER GIVE UP, WE REFUSE TO GIVE IN because WE PREFER SOMETHING BETTER - WHAT YOU HAVE FOR US! WE SEE IT FROM AFAR, WE SEE IT NEAR US, WE SEE IT IN THE FUTURE, GOD, WE SEE IT IN OUR NOW! Keep fighting, keep loving, keep believing, keep going! amen!
