Unlike The Past

Deuteronomy 11.10
The land you are entering to take up ownership isn't like Egypt, the land you left, where you had to plant your own seed and water it yourselves as in a vegetable garden.
thank you jesus, thank you God for bringing us into this new life, a life that is nothing like the life we left behind, where we had to do everything out of our own effort, our own devices, our own ways - and they are never truly successful and fruitful. thank you lord for the life-changing, life-transforming salvation that you have delivered us form our past with, a blessed land that you have graced for ownership of, a land that you have placed before us, wonderfully unlike the land that's behind us, the land we turned our back to never to look back to again, never to turn direction towards again! thank you lord for taking us out of the endless, useless existence of subsisting on our own strength, relying on our own wits to live life, an impossible burden to bear - no lord, you have broken that up from us and taken us to a new life with you!
