Hold On for Others

1 Samuel 31.7
When the Israelites in the valley opposite and those on the other side of the Jordan saw that their army was in full retreat and that Saul and his sons were dead, they left their cities and ran for their lives.
what a great word to stay the course and keep running the race you made for us. thank you for the grace that lets us keep going, gives us the willingness, the strength, the courage to rest in you, the will to hold on to you and let go of everything else - whatever we know or feel or anything else - and just trust you that when we follow you and live as you please we get to stand up for others and be your light and direction to their lives, not letting them drop out of their race.
