my own son, my flesh and bone, is right now trying to kill me; compared to that this Benjaminite is small potatoes.
thank you for this example of perspective, God. may we always keep in mind that no matter what is going in our lives, no matter what issue we are facing, there’s still so much for us to be thankful for. may we set our hearts up this way when things are going well, so when the storm hits up our reflex has already been built up, a natural response to be grateful coming from a place of thankfulness and recognizing that you always have the best going for your perfect plan no matter how difficult or unpleasant the natural may present itself.
