Deuteronomy 23.7
Don't spurn an Egyptian; you were a foreigner in his land.
thank you lord for such a gracious yet really important reminder for us not to be harsh with anyone who maltreated us, lord, no matter how bad, because your forgiveness is the one that sets us free from all pain, no matter how deep - and opens us to the beauty of release, the lightness of your burden, the real joy of letting go and being generous in kindness and love. may sound ridiculous, but that's exactly how you are, God - turning the world upside down one ridiculous truth at a time! how scandalous, scandalously right, true and liberating! praise you, praise you lord!
