1 Samuel 15.2
This is the God-of-the-Angel-Armies speaking
may we always revere you, always be in awe of you, God. you are the ruler of all, the commander of the highest army, the only army that matters, and every single word you have to say is more than worth listening to. God, may we always hang on to your thoughts, to the musings of your heart like morning mist to a dried up, curled up burnt piece of paper. may we thirst after your thoughts, the desires of your heart like nothing we've ever had before, catch your will, your words, your work, your face like our next breath. may we always have the highest regard for you, put you first in everything, in our mind and heart, in our relationships, in our giving, in our every step, in our every day.
