Judges 2.18
He would save them from their enemies' oppression as long as the judge was alive
this is what it means for you to be with us. this is what your presence being with us does - it's still your powerful work of salvation that plays out, your almighty hand that saves us from both eternal and temporal separation from you. thank you lord that the enemy could never truly oppress us, the enemy could never do anything hat amounts to something because you are always there to save and redeem what was planned for the worst into the best thing that we wouldn't have any other way. thank you lord that you are not just about foiling the enemy's plan, you are all about carrying out what is in your heart and what is in your unfathomable mind, and when what you want happens we are truly and forever saved.
