Deuteronomy 33.2
He said, God came down from Sinai, he dawned from Seir upon them; He radiated light from Mount Paran, coming with ten thousand holy angels And tongues of fire streaming from his right hand.
your glory lord is not just something grandiose and for show - your glory is very personal and selfless and loving, that you chose to come down, to go where you would become vulnerable just to be in a relationship with none other than us, your creation. what great love, that even the darkest darkness is overcome with your transforming light, your overwhelming peace, your ever-strong truth, your secure sovereignty. thank you God for being who you are, for being the only one of your kind, that you are so different on, on a league of your own, that this holiness - every time we see it - just speaks volumes to us of how much you love, how much your love is all we need, it's more than enough for you to come down, to be with us. thank you lord.
