Deuteronomy 32.10
He threw his arms around him, lavished attention on him, guarding him as the apple of his eye.
thank you lord that out stories are not so much about us turning away from you, but you turning towards us and bringing us back to you, to all things great and good, to your perfect plan to which there is no second, to your perfect sovereignty that trumps everything and everyone that tries to go against your way. thank you for the attention that you have on us, the God of the universe never too busy for us, never too occupied to hear us, never too concerned with someone or something else so as to ignore us. thank you Jesus for bringing us back into this relationship. how you guard us, lord, with your life! as the most important and most loved object of your goodness, of who you are. praise you lord, for being so good!
