Your identity is never racially-determined but God-determined by purpose. Promise takes priority over genetics. His purpose is not a hit-or-miss thing dependent on what we do or don't do, but a sure thing determined by his decision, flowing steadily from his initiative.

Romans 8.3,24-25
He didn't deal with the problem as something remote and unimportant. Waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don't see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.
