E.T.A.: Now.

Luke 7.1-10,16,22-23 (MSG)
A Roman captain sent messengers to ask Jesus to heal his servant. "Master, just give the order and my servant will get well."
Jesus was taken aback by this simple trust, and when the messengers got back home, they found the servant up and well.
The people gratefully called out, "God is back, looking to the needs of his people!"

Jesus answered,

   "The blind see,
   The lame walk,
   Lepers are cleansed,
   The deaf hear,
   The dead are raised,
The wretched of the earth have God's salvation hospitality extended to them.

Is this what you were expecting? Then count yourselves fortunate!"

Yes, Lord! This is all we are expecting! Thank You, God, because we are blessed, because You've given the order, and we are well! That weak body, persecuted Christianity, unbelieving heart, financial lack, lukewarm attitudes towards pursuing You and connecting with other believers, physically and emotionally separated relationships from each other and relatives, the sicknesses and accidents of our friends and loved ones - all healed! We are even protected from all attacks of the enemy against all these and what we're not even aware of because Your healing is total and complete! Our blind minds and hearts can now see, we can now walk in faith and complete security in You, our sins are forever forgiven and we can move on from our past mistakes, our deaf ears and hard hearts can hear Your message and let it grow deep in us and bear fruit of loving You and loving people, our dead relationships, finances, bodies are all raised and given life with You, our weakness and wretchedness washed away by Your salvation hospitality extended to us!

Thank You, Lord, we are filled with hope, joy, anticipation and peace! You alone do all this, because You are back, no matter how distant we felt You were before – You are back, looking to our needs, looking to the needs of Your people. We love You Lord, thank You for loving and healing us, so we can love You and all around us and be kind to them.
