Luke 5.1,4,6,9-10 (MSG)
The crowd kept pushing in on Jesus to better hear the Word of God.
When he finished teaching, he said, "Push out into deep water and let your nets out for a catch."
It was no sooner said than done - a huge haul of fish, straining the nets past capacity.
When they pulled in all that catch of fish, awe overwhelmed them all.
Jesus said, "There is nothing to fear. From now on you'll be fishing for men and women."
Thank You, God, that no matter what the circumstances in and around us are - even if we haven't caught a single fish all night amidst our tremendous efforts at trying, even if our senses give us all kinds of symptoms of sicknesses, even if this person can feel whatever on the back of her head, or that person feels all tired and swamped physically and spiritually, even if a huge deal has said no to this person for now, even if they're separated from each other for now, even if our financial statements don't add up, even if our pre-believing family member is still fighting against what's good for Him and holding on to religion, even if our relationships sometimes sour up, even if our hands don't seem to be fruitful - even if everything around us are mountains and what we see with our eyes are all running against Your desire of healing and prosperity in our spirit, soul, body and relationships, we will still let the nets out, because You said so. And we know, that no sooner You say it than it will be done! Thank You God, we are overwhelmed. Thank You, God, there is nothing to fear. From now on we can keep doing Your work and fulfilling Your purposes for our lives, we can keep being like you – fighting well amidst hardships. No disruptions to what You want, nothing to fear in our hearts, mind, spirits, whole being.
Thank You Lord, You are the author of both the possible and the impossible, and You've gone beyond the impossible.
