Deuteronomy 6.6
Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you
yes lord, we will keep them burned in our hearts, we will be deliberate about getting your word inside of us! we will go out of our way until your word becomes second nature to us, until we live, breathe, think, eat and sleep your word; until we get to know your heart and let our hearts and minds be in sync with your every move, your thought, your every judgment call. as we let your spirit pervade our thinking, as we let you rule our every thought, your established word will find its way even deeper into us as it then goes out of us and into the world around us! your word will be the one to rule our situations, circumstances, relationships and all, and not the other way around. all it takes is us being deliberate - to write your words in our hearts, to get them inside of us, and your grace steps in and enables us more than we could ever do on our own!
